NOW OPEN: TORONTO'S MOMOFUKU MILK BAR

Momofuku Milk Bar, Chef David Chang's temple to all things sweet and buttery, is now open in Toronto.

Co-founder and pastry chef Christina Tosi made the announcement this morning via the Toronto Star.

"We’re so excited to watch this come to fruition," she said. "It’ll be really interesting to see how it goes."

Located on the second floor of Chang's glass cube building next to the Shangri-la Hotel, Toronto's Milk Bar will be the first of its kind located outside of New York City.

Given the limited space, customers will be afforded what Tosi calls the "grocery experience": everyone gets a basket and selects what packaged goods they like. All of the food is baked in New York and shipped daily by UPS.

Available treats include blueberry and cream cookies, cornflake cookies, and of course, Tosi's legendary Crack Pie.
